Information systems used by Wawa

Hardware

Wawa uses a variety of hardware equipment to help better their operation and keep track of information. They used Information systems for all of their value chains but we are going to focus on the Information systems used for the day-to-day operations. Wawa uses scanners, computers, cell phones, self-checkouts, and self-serve ordering screens. All of these hardware Information systems are used on a daily and help the workers and the company maintain their day-to-day operations.

Software

Wawa uses Workday, Wawa hub, and Reflexis as their primary software. Workday is Wawas' payroll processing service. For scheduling purposes the company uses Reflexis. The hub is Wawas' own software and it's being used for everyday communication, employee announcements, and also as a way to handle the business needs and know what is going on throughout the company.
